Sentry is designed to watch the long-lived detectors (coming with the AI team). When a security-relevant pattern fires, Sentry analyzes the threat, produces a verdict with the evidence behind it, and hands the decision to Bastion — Sentry analyzes; Bastion gates.
Sentry sits ahead of Bastion in the security lane: analysis before adjudication. Where Bastion is designed to classify contracts and decide pass, block or escalate, Sentry is designed to produce the analyzed threat picture — verdict plus evidence — that feeds the gate (coming with the AI team). Judgment and authority stay separate steps, and Sentry's identity is durable even though any single watch is short.
